Controlling IDC777-KIT from a Smartphone via Bluetooth Command Mode

Hello,

I was able to successfully connect the IDC777-KIT to my PC and use Hercules to send and receive command mode instructions.

Now, I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the same commands from a smartphone.
I tried using the Serial Bluetooth Terminal app, but the commands don’t seem to work.

Is there any way to control or send commands to the IDC777-KIT directly from a mobile device, similar to how it works with Hercules on a PC?

Hi,

This is not implemented yet. It will be implemented in the future.

But if you have a Host, there is a workaround:

1) You send from the App the command (For example XXXX). The IDC777 will send tot he host RECV 14 XXXX.

2) Then from your host you send on the UART the command XXXXX and the IDC777 can execute it.
