IDC777 Autoconnect Broadcast

Hi,

I am attempting to setup a connection between two IDC777 modules via Auracast broadcast.

I can successfully connect the two modules, and audio output is working well. However, I’m struggling to configure the autoconnection mode.

On the receive module, my attempts to set the AUTOCONN_BCAST results in an “ERROR 0x0013” response.

The 0x0013 error indicates that I do not have the parameters set properly, but at least the first attempt appears to line up with the AudioAgent Manual (AAGENT-IDC7x7-V003, page 68).

I have tried setting this config right after a RESET command and right after an OPEN command, but this showed the same behavior.

Interestingly, the default config list does not show an AUTOCONN_BCAST configuration value present.

I spotted the other forum post about the automatic start ofthe TX side of Auracast coming in a new release (https://www.iot747.com/forums/iot747-topic/feature-request-auracast-at-startup/). Could you give some details about when that might be released?

Hello,
The Autoconn feature came after AA3170. You would need to use a draft release of the new upcoming AA32xx firmware. Please file a ticket support at: https://www.iot747.com/support/open.php, stating company name, project and teh team will give you an early release which has the AUTOCONN_BCAST config. It is a Config like any other Config. Thanks.
