IDC777 KIT setup

Hello,

I am attempting to use the IDC777 KIT.

I have connected the IDC777 KIT to my laptop via USB and am using the Hercules software to verify that the command prompt (cmd) is functioning correctly (referencing the “IDC7x7: Kit Set-Up” guide).

However, when I enter commands such as status or reset, I receive no response.

I can confirm that input is being registered when I press the reset button on the kit or when I establish a Bluetooth connection.

What could be the problem?

Hello,
Please make sure that you have set up the End Of Line correctly. The same as what is on the SET UP Line. So you send a Carriage Return when you type ENTER. Hello,

I was able to successfully connect the IDC777-KIT to my PC and use Hercules to send and receive command mode instructions.

Now, I’m wondering if it’s possible to use the same commands from a smartphone.
I tried using the Serial Bluetooth Terminal app, but the commands don’t seem to work.

Is there any way to control or send commands to the IDC777-KIT directly from a mobile device, similar to how it works with Hercules on a PC?
