Voice Quality Degradation (Mic Failure/Distortion) in Dual AG-HFP Mode (AA3248D)
I observed after upgrading our IDC777-KIT to the latest AA3248D firmware.
Module Configuration:
Role: Audio Gateway (AG-HFP).
Connection: Paired successfully with two distinct Bluetooth headsets (with microphones).
Mixing: Enabled dual-channel mixing via MIX_AUDIO=OFF OFF ON OFF (2xAGHFP mixing).
Observed Issue:
Upon issuing the SCO_OPEN <link_id> or SCO_CLOSE <link_id> command, either microphone randomly fails, or the transmitted voice becomes heavily distorted (suspected codec instability).
Comparison:
This functionality was fully stable on our previous firmware version, AA3240.
Please advise on any known fixes or configuration adjustments related to simultaneous SCO links in the new build.
Hello,
We looked and there are no changes between AA3240D and AA3248D that would explain this.
1) Could you please redo the tests with AA3240D on the same hardware?
2) Can you send us the complete Log of UART commands and CONFIGs?
Thanks.
