Hello,
The {} in the manual means indicates bytes. For example {07}{09}{4D} indicates bytes with values 0x07, 0x09, 0x04D are sent. It does not mean that you have to send curley brackets. It means yo usend the commands SRRD 1 (Carriage Return) and then you just send aan ascii character. Hope this clarifies.

We uploaded the file again but please update if needed as we will remove it shortly. All designs are now with the IDC777. We recommend to move to the IDC777 which has Auracast and LE Audio and many new other features. It also has many fixes compared to the IDC747 and is well supported.

We should release a new firmware AA32xx before the end of the year with a new UART manual which will contain the log. The new firmware will have new features (HID, PBAP, MAP profiles are on the roadmap), PCM TDM interface, ability to re-Auracast, new commands and configs to open or reconnect to any Auracast link. What you see on the Communicator is draft releases of it.

The Autoconn feature came after AA3170. You would need to use a draft release of the new upcoming AA32xx firmware. Please file a ticket support at: https://www.iot747.com/support/open.php, stating company name, project and teh team will give you an early release which has the AUTOCONN_BCAST config. You need to set aptx-lowlatency. Do you have a license? You should see (aptX Lossless: ON when you boot).

Hello Abdo,

For bidirection links, you for now have 2 options:

1) Classic Bluetooth: AGHFP and HFP: This will give you a 16kHz mSBC encoded stream. Latency is about 50ms.

2) LE Audio: In this one, you can choose the sampling rate. However, this was only tested up to 32Khz. I don’t think 48k is supported by the standard,

Can you file a ticket at https://www.iot747.com/support/open.php about this? This will allow it to be added to feature requests.

Also, there is one option, the gaming mode. In this option, you get a 48k (out) and a 16k (in) connection. Search gaming in the UART command manual.

In the new release, we have a new CONFIG AUTO_AUDIO where you can set it so the IDC777 can Auracast from start. Please file a ticket at https://www.iot747.com/support/open.php and we can give you an early version of the firmware. It is currently being tested for release.

Hello,
The IDC777 allows to detect automatically if it is an earbud. But you have to enable this capability. Can you try and change SSP_CAPS=3 ON? (Syntax: SSP_CAPS= ). Then do a WRITE and RESET and try and pair and connect to the first earbud as you would normally. The IDC777 should then detect the second earbud automatically. However, this is a new feature we introduced so please test and let us know. Also, some products have slightly different implementations.
