Tagged: UART command
I am working with an IDC777-DK Development Board running AudioAgent V3.2.72 (Build: 0400427b).
I am trying to measure the maximum RF output power of the module using a sweeping spectrum analyzer. To do this accurately, I need to configure the module to transmit a Continuous Wave (CW / unmodulated carrier tone) locked onto a single frequency channel (no frequency hopping).
Currently, when I attempt to issue low-level configuration hooks over UART, the module is locked in a PAIR_PENDING state and rejects the commands with ERROR 0x0012.
Could you please clarify: Is there an undocumented AudioAgent UART command (such as TXTEST or CWTEST) supported in version V3.2.72 to force a single-channel continuous carrier transmission?
If no high-level text command exists, what is the recommended procedure to bypass the application’s 0x0012 state error so the underlying Qualcomm QCC3081 hardware can accept standard Bluetooth SIG binary HCI test packets (e.g., HCI_LE_Transmitter_Test) over the UART lines?
Any guidance, script examples, or documentation regarding production/manufacturing RF testing for this specific module would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi, There is a tool to put the IDC777 into RF test mode. But you need to sign an NDA for us to release the tool. Could you please file a ticket support at: https://www.iot747.com/support/open.php with details about your project and we will send you an NDA to sign. Thanks. IOT747 Support
